This is a showroom/gallery for the fashion brand "SEN". "SEN" was started by fashion designer Tomoco Tagawa who is established and works mainly in Osaka.

The brand concept is a flow with fluency, regardless of the trend of the times. This can be provided by not cutting into materials but to create form by twisting and stitching.

This space is not just place to sell clothes but place which presents between (organic) space (inorganic) human body, connecting the two sides" and, one of the food, clothing and shelter is an essential element for the "people", people live life "it is a space for discussion, experiment, and practice, the relationship of clothing. "

Based on the above concept, it was composed of only inorganic material which is solid, and achromatic color space.

Curved LGS wall represent and creating space which reflects the title of the brand "SEN",

There will be special identity shown on the entrance area which will be replaced and changed every season.

New season items are made in the basement and will be shown on bespoke furniture using the table and hanging system. The space can also be used for events such as collaboration talks with Tagawa, artists and creators.

LGS table is located in the central position, this is to the dissolve barrier between customer and retailer. This gives an opportunity to provide space for discussion with drinks and food.

At the show window, we have placed a Bonsai Tree as an icon for universality of organic material clothes.

Yoshikazu Inoue is a photographer who works in Japan and internationally, on small as well as major projects. His work focuses on a variety of musicians, including famous violinist Taro Hakase and Japanese contemporary musical studio, Ishinha.

This unique renovation project will provide a new office mechanism for Inoue's studio team, as well as his main work of Development-Printing-Enlargement (DPE).

The building was originally built in early 1970 in Hirakata, a suburb of Osaka. The location offered a great opportunity for locals, becoming a part of their lives whereby the studio became a place to take photos for special occasions. There were no barriers in terms of age and sex.

The main focus of the design was not to lose existing customers at DPE shop, while at the same time providing a space as the head office for photographers.

For the new proposal, the front of the shop is fully open, there are no doors or windows. This is a new style in comparison to the old shop, and provides complete openness between the shop and customers.

Along the entrance through the gradient partition, there is a space for a self-printing machine and display corner, computers are also provided to adjust any photos.

There is a photo booth behind the register in order to provide aspace where professional photographers can take better quality photos.

Beyond this area, there is an office space for the camera crew. This is the heart of the office where data from cameras is printed into photographs.

The structures around the ceiling area are exposed, existing wall tiles are painted and partition walls are made out of MDF. Register Counter/Cashier worktop area is painted in Black.

The logo including the character and signage illustrations are designed by Hevio Tamamura.

It is only approximately about 20m2, but works of Inoue’s can be seen day-to-day,
